Heather answers event planning questions

What type of events do you plan?

Just about anything! In addition to planning many, many weddings, I plan birthday celebrations, corporate events, Mitzvahs, non-profit fundraisers, grand galas and university events. You name it, I can plan it!

How far out do I need to hire you?

I tend to book up faster on Saturdays and peak wedding months (September, October, November, March, April, May,and June). If you have a weekday event then chances are that I may be available! It is never too soon or too late to contact me.

How do you feel about Corporate Events?

Bona Fide Events is always willing to partner with corporations, both big and small, to help with planning their special events. Whether it is a planning project that you want to place in capable hands or you need someone to team up with your existing staff on a project, Bona Fide Events has the experience needed to take your corporate event to the next level!

Do you plan Nonprofit Events?

I love working with nonprofits to help further their initiatives through fundraisers and special events! Bona Fide Events takes pride in working with like-minded nonprofit organizations and is ready to become a valuable part of your planning team to help you accomplish your goals!

What if we need help planning a University Event?

In a word, yes! I have great experience planning University events. From working on both Duke and University of North Carolina's campuses for many years as a catering event planner and later at UNC-CH as a planner with The Morehead-Cain Foundation, I understand the complexities surrounding alumni, donor and student events on college campuses.

I see that you have packages for Weddings. Do you have packages for other events also?

I treat all other events on an individual basis. Before putting together a custom proposal for your event, I would first talk through the details and scope of the project with you. Following that communication, Bona Fide Events will send you a complete custom proposal detailing both expectations and pricing for your event.
